What a hidden gem. Only a couple of km to the CBD. A short walk to the zoo and botanical gardens. This park is surrounded by stunning heritage homes. A really great coffee shop called Fix a short stroll away. The powered caravan site we had was small for our 20'6 fit but totally worth it for the amazing location. Only downside was we couldn't get signal on our satellite dish as we were under tress and one day the 2 clothes lines were full. Could probably do with another clothesline. Showers and toilets & laundry were all clean. I didn't use the camp kitchen or pool. We loved this location and it was a LOT cheaper than a powered site at the Adelaide Showgrounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Really top notch campsite, unlike the welcome Unfortunately... The man who welcomed us (probably the boss) was as cold as an ice cube, really not a pleasant person.
He must not like strangers either.... (the height of it for a campsite) because he breathes when you talk to him, and makes no effort to pronounce words or speak quickly.
Score of 10/10 for the campsite and 2/10 for the welcome.... Fortunately I didn't come across it again during my stay here 👌

We stayed on a powered site for 8 night's, our site was very small and cramped , the amenities were only cleaned once a day late in the afternoon. Every time my partner used the amenities they were dirty or out of paper towel, toilet paper or soap.
Well what I can say the cabin was very clean and tidy. However like most other reviews have stated the owner and I figure wife maybe are very abrupt and judge people from their appearance, I was heavily tattooed may be that was it I don't know for sure. I personally always treat people with respect and empathy for all humans. It just gave me a bad vibe.

Horrible customer service, we were made to feel as if we should be grateful to be given a site at the park as we had not booked in advance. When we arrived the lady behind the desk was busy arguing with a customer on the phone, a man came out and asked us to wait while they dealt with difficult customers. After being lectured about booking in advance next time ( there won't be a next time). The lady proceeded to make fun of the customer on the phone call she hung up from because he booked at the wrong caravan park but in her words "too bad cause I had already taken his money when he realised"
Stayed on a powered site for a week and the whole time we had a smell of gas coming from somewhere. Spoke to the park manager twice and he was dismissive of it and said it wasn't from the park. He then said it was coming from. Instant hot water services on 3 of the cabins. I checked these out and nothing came from them. We had multiple people near us comment on the smell but sadly the camp management were not interested. It put a damper on on out stay constantly smelling it when we went outside. If staying there, avoid sites 24 25 & 26.
We stayed in a cabin that was pet friendly, however it was also very dirty and dusty and privacy unfriendly. We had cleaning staff members always walking next to our kitchen window and constantly looking inside to what we were doing. Very unprofessional and annoying. The couch was filthy and smelly with stains and fur from previous pets' guests and the carpet in the bedroom has probably never been cleaned because it was so dusty that we were coughing and sneezing during the whole stay. Very bad! Never again! I don't recommend chosing this location if you have a pet. Having a pet doesn't mean that you have to stay in dirty places. Pets and their owners deserve respect.
